Privacy
Breathcharge has no accounts, no ads and no cookies. Here's exactly what happens with data.
On your device only
Your settings, your look, your saved presets and whether you dismissed the install suggestion are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Counted anonymously
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you. It counts page views, with the page, the referring site, the country and the device and browser type. On top of that, we count a few events: a session started or completed (with the technique name and length), the app installed, and the widget code copied. Nothing is linked to you, and nothing about your breathing is recorded beyond those counts.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers process standard request data, like your IP address, to deliver the pages. Fonts and music are served from breathcharge.com itself, so no other company is contacted while you use the timer. After the first visit, the app and its music are cached on your device, so it works offline.
The embeddable widget
The breathing timer widget on other websites sets no cookies and records nothing about their visitors.
